Anita Su is an interdisciplinary artist and visual arts educator in Northern California.

Anita earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her body of work includes but is not limited to digital designs, drawings, paintings, photography, sculptures, and ceramics. She takes pride in her versatility as an artist and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experiences with her community.

Both inside and outside the classroom, she is deeply enthusiastic about social and restorative justice, creative design, contemporary art, and visual culture studies. As an educator, she strives to establish a safe, nurturing environment to teach culturally relevant content to her students. She aims to assist them in reaching their goals as young artists and to support all her students in enhancing their artistic abilities, regardless of their current skill levels.

Anita finds joy in meditation, yoga, rock climbingg, traveling, connecting with the elements in the Natural World and spending time with her cat Graham. She is a passionate learner who constantly seeks to expand her knowledge, particularly in the arts and esotericism, for personal and professional growth. Additionally, Anita is a sound healer, reiki practitioner, and Yoga Alliance 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher. Having spent time in dieta in Peru, she has a deep reverence for medicinal herbs and sacred plant medicine and plans to continue her studies to be of service within her community. Currently, she is in an Ancestral Healing Arts and Curanderismo to further deepen her connection to nature, her ancestral roots, and spiritual practices.
